This is the beginning of our new normal life.... is there any real normal? I kinda don't think so. But this will be the beginning of my blog... This blog has evolved, and I am adding this 4 months later...
If you are reading this, I hope it will be of some help...... please email me if you want to... or comment...
I need to go back to the beginning a bit..... Larry had a heart attack and 5 bypasses in 2001, this was before we met. We met later that year through an online dating site... we married in May 2002 after he gad survived a month in the hospital with gall stone induced pancreatitis. In 2007 another heart attack and a stent. About 2008 an ICD was placed in his chest in case he had another heart sttack.... the battery totally ran down and was replaced in 2015.. he has Congestive Heart Failure..
About 6 months ago he began having increased shortness of breath, and at Christmas another severe set of breathing problems.... meds again seemed to help.
We went to Florida mid January to just chill and then to spend a month near my oldest son Bryan, Christie and their 3. We arrived on Jan 29, Larry had a heart attack in Jan 29..... 3 days later he got out and was improving... then on Feb 16 another heart attack... back to the hospital.. that day and the next few days we began talking hospice, because it did not appear as if he would survive.... then he did begin to get better, enough that the cardiologist suggested a LVAD, heart pump.... They did not do it at that hospital, so it meant a transfer, CONFERENCE time.... both of my sons and Christie, Larry and me and the cardiologist..... THIS is when answers and questions and suggestions got to going..... plus many tears, I was in total confusion...
It was then that we decided to transfer home....
It was also when I knew that I could no longer update 20 people on 6 different formats, so I decided to creat this blog.
