I have no idea why the Op photos posted so large, but I guess it is as large there as it was in my mind.... and it was big to me......  smile.

Florida grands called and wanted to know why I had a rat on my kitchen counter.... cracked me up...so love facetime....  Larry was busy trying to set up the new Echo Dot....  wasnt successful. Will try again today....

Today we have no plans....  i might not get dressed all day....  we both need a no drama day.....
I said that to Larry as we were driving home, then when I parked and went to the back of the jeep to get his suitcase... the window popped up and hit me in the nose.....   there was drama...  it hurt, bad, the damn OP was watching me.  Just not good....  but it got better...  nose isnt broken, just had a headache all day.

Drama....  needed to go get RX for a pill he had to take 1 hour before dinner....   thunderstorms,  seemed the radar showed them going in circles....  so finally got to go.

I forgot to get the mail on Thursday, so when Dave, the mailman delivered Frifays mail, and it was still there from the day before, he got worried and brought both up to the door to check on me....  that was such a nice thing....

Larry is still not feeling as good as he was in late May, but he is better than last week, main,y he is glad to be home....  he said as incredible as the nurses are on 8b, it still is better to be home...  of course LitaBit agrees, she misses her human when he isnt here...

At 1;43 this morning, I heard a crash....   I had closed my door, so I just decided I would deal with it this morning.   Good thing  or I might not have trapped my prey....  the crash was one of Larrys handmade glass pieces, and his fav mug that Katie got him one year.  He loved that mug so much that he never did use it, just had it on his shelf....  

If I had gotten up I woukd have confronted that beast in the living room, not guving him time to make it to the trap......    slept in, forgot to set alarm.....  woke up at 6;50.... snuck into the kitchen peeped around the corner and yes there was the alien    OPPOSSUM....  so i backed up, got a deep breath and went in telling it how damn ugly it was......   got my extension grabber thingys and picked that trap up, and carried it outside.....  then went and cleaned up the glass, the poop, and ginally let the dogs out.......

Now to drink my coffee and get dressed to go to the hospital....

Good, bad, and unknown

Good:
 Larry is coming home in the morning, bleeding has been slowed or at least his blood is built back up.... day of learning... from PA Josh, son Dr. David, and Dr Ransom......  hematocrit is all relative to individual patient... what those test results with the standard ranges are...  nothing really...   each patient has to be considered as to other symptoms and how the patient is doing... so the scare that I have with the numbers semming to be so low, are not all that liw for an LVADer.... plus the bleed he has could be one he has had for years, its just now the coumadin has his blood thinner so it squeezes out of an area that otherwise it might not.... yes that makes perfect sensr.....  duh, dumb it down for mama as nurse Pamela told me today......
And yes he has gym shorts on under that gown.

pill cam next week, hopefully on Tuesday.... this will give them 50,000 photos of his small intestine.....  lot of photos, even more than I took in Alaska

Bad:

Just now, when coming home, the neighbor was outside, stopped and talked to him.... that cat that I thought was in my house, had gone wacko, and they got rid of it in May.....🙀 it is not THE ALIEN CAT,so chances are it is either a raccoon or an opposum....  bad, scary......  😱



Either way, at lunch I went to Home Depot and bought a $50 animal trap, brought it home, set it up and baited it... now to see if I catch the dang thing tonight.... if you hear me scream in the morning, then I probably caught it....  🗣

Keeping my man compny......  will watch him, maybe later dismissal, but probably tomorrow. Labs some better, but gad an extreme low in blood sugar this morning....  hard to tell difference in liw sugar and anemia...

Poop on counter again this morning....  does anyone know what to do..... i really need suggestions...

Not the penthouse room

different room this time, but I like it better....  the view isnt as nice, cant see the downtown skyline, but the room itself is comfy...  he is resting and listening to his music.....

Yes back in the hospital... VAMPIRE cocktails....   actually this time his hematacrit was even lower than a month ago...  will give him some blood to get him built back up....

Again like coming into a yearly/monthly resort. No one has to ask your name, they know us...  in fact one of the aides passed us downstairs and asked if we were coming up....  she said they hadnt been notified yet....  last time had to wait 3 hours for the iv specialist, this time he was waiting for us....  i dont guess that is really a good thing....

Most likely this will a two night stay...  maybe one...  will see..

Pill cam is an outpatient thing AFTER they get insurance approval...

Alien cat

the alien cat is back.....   this morning it was 4am...  dogs going crazy so let them out of their crates, they started barking and going wild.....  but I had closed off the doggy door so I got them calmed down....

Well it appears the alien cat MUST be hiding inside....  because this morning their was POOP on my kitchen counter....  so gross that I hate to type it...  sorry to the cat lovers, but again... I dont own a cat....  when my dogs are out, they are in a fenced area or with a leash....... that is discrimination that I am being terrorized by an alien cat that does not have to be confined......

Tonight I plan on leaving the doggy door open... maybe it will go away.  I have left the gate to my studio open today in case it is up there, maybe the dogs will find it.  They usually dont get access to that room because they cause destruction in the past, but so far today they have not. Going to leave the dogs out tonight as well, hoping they will chase it out.....

MEDICAL:

when our nurse checked with us this morning, she said to go to the lab at the hospital at 9am tomorrow WEDNESDAY, they will take another lab and do a type and match on blood...  that translates to transfusions.    She has also sent info to another doctor for a capsule endoscopy....

But that will be separate, first thing will be to build him up again.....    learning to recognize the symptoms of needing blood..... so far are shortness of breath, extreme fatigue

today started out not good and it is only 10 am

1.  Larry dropped something at 5:30 scared me, but it was nothing imp
2. LitaBit started getting sick in her crate, 5;32, so had to get up and let her out and open the doors
3. Got up to make coffee and had forgotten to put the filter in the coffeepot. Mess....
4. Larry has been having trouble breathing again and no energy, back stool.... so back to clinic for
     labs,,,  pretty sure his h/h will be low....  possibly another check in for blood....
5. At least no visiting cat activity this morning.  Finding cat poop behind my washer yesterday did
     not make me happy........  IT IS NOT MY CAT......  i dont have a cat.

Anyway   More later... prayers that all goes well.....   and please say extra for others that are also needed them....

Mini update:
Yep hematacrit down.... lower than before.
Stopped the coumadin, for 2 days and will recheck on wed am at the hospital
and also type and cross match blood....   which probably means a few days stay again......
Might do the capsule endoscopy this time....
