not sure if it is again or a continuation of the dang cold I had before...  
either way, I am sick again, and so far Larry is not....  

I still have things to do......   dont want more cold, but guess I dont get a choice....

 went to the clinic at Baptist Transplant Center yesterday to deliver some Christmas goodies.. after I took C to the airport, she flew back to Tampa on Delta thru Atlanta, but made it ok...

 I then had a massage and facial this morning....  it was after that I realized it had gotten me again...

The longer I dont post, the harder it is to think of a reason to post......

  it was a habit that I have gotten out of...  it was therapy, which I still need.....  it was a method of communication, which I didnt realize was still being used for some.    I wonder if Larry will ever read it, but then, that doesnt really matter......   i was never a writer, and still am not, but I am a talker, so when I write on this blog, instead of worrying about proper sentence structure, etc....  I choose to just talk using my keyboard....

Ok I will back up a bit, in September Larry had to have ALL of his teeth pulled because of gum disease and bacteria... was in for 9 days with the complications, had problems with bleeding, kidnies failing, and then jaw bone still being sharp....  so he still has NOT GOTTEN his dentures, they are made, and have been fitted, but he will have to have additional procedures in January to be able to comfortably wear them... so he is still eating very soft ground foods, and I am still cooking soft mushy stuff.....  he has  rediscovered Cheetoes....

Then Thanksgiving came, we traveled.... yes really did...  our first trip since his LVAD surgery on March 7.....  we took the RV to my sons home two hours away...  this was a major accomplishment for both of us...  but we felt like if ya gotta take that first step, why not go to where you have doctors....  turns out, there was a friend doctor as well, so we had my 2 sons, 2 daughters-in-law... total of 5 doctors in attendance...  and got to enjoy them as family rather than medical professionals...  3 nights and then home...  WE DID IT.

Came home and then developed head colds....  ok another minor setback, Larry is limited on what he can take, because of drug interaction with his warfarin, so we got serious about essential oils therapy....  although I still swear by the vicks vaporub......   but I have been prone to vertigo bouts....  yuk... so limited driving and meds for me, so glad that online shopping is so easy...

Then another sad occasion.....   my son and daughter-in-law live in Tampa, we had been visiting them when Larry had the heart attacks in January and February....  her mother had gone to live with them when her cancer progressed this past summer...  they brought her back to Arkansas over Thanksgiving, and after more scans and another brain surgery, she passed away on December 10th..... so they returned this past weekend for services for her... while I enjoyed having the Florida grands back for a few days, it has been an emotional time...

 It makes me appreciate Larry’s progress so very much....
 each day is just one more special gift with him.... and I try so hard not to take any of that time for granted...  

Thank you to all who have served.....  today, Veterans Day, we went out to eat... Olive Garden, he got a free meal, soup and lasagna, and I got a spouse appreciation dinner from him.....  Shrimp Carbonara for me, brought my soup home for him....

He is able to eat more and more, just no bites....

Not really sure.

Larry went to the dentist yesterday for second denture appointment.   Seems like his bones on his jaw are still very sharp....   went to the Oral surgeon today, and good is he does not want to go back in for surgery, but would rather do each point one at a time with a tiny cut and a few micro stitches...   ONE AT A TIME,   But in clinic, about a week apart...

So now he will possibly be without chewers for a little while longer.....

Didn’t get the lab numbers yet, but nurse Tori said they were good.....
xray good, Dr. Ransom said unless Larry has problems, next appointment is in 3 months.....

We did it....

We did our first rv trip since THE TRIP......   laugh, that is what it was....
But we did it, a week in the RV, again....   not like our past two month at a time trips, but this felt like a major accomplishment....  and It was...

Larry drove, i followed him in the jeep.....  we were just going 15 miles or so to North Little Rock Riverfront RV Park, but it was our trial run....

we met up with 10 other RVers... total of 23 of us, and had a fun filled week.....  lots of fun, lots of food, and lots of hugs....  none of these friends have seen him since he received his LVAD.... but we have talked to them and texted with them...  and they have been there for us when we needed them.
They came here from Seattle, Arizona, Tennessee, Texas, Indiana, Illinois, and Arkansas... I so love our friends....

One of our friends has a 20year old capuchin monkey...  Sena.   She is so much fun to watch, and Barb was kind enough to share her with all of us.... but to me the highlight of Sena’s visit was the time with Anna and Hayes.   I have never seen Sena reach out and go to someone like she did with Anna.....  I know Anna will remember this...

One more final dinner was tonight... we met them at Cracker Barrel, we are home, they are leaving tomorrow...  safe journey my friends, Thank you for giving us these hours of love and laughs...

This time I have been quiet because we are camping.......   well the rv...   Larry is doing wonderful....
He drove the rv.....  we are about 15 miles from our home in the Downtown Riverfront RV Park.... great location on the Arkansas River Banks...

Not only that, there are 10 of our RV buddies with us, about 23 total...  having such a great time.
So shhhhhhhhh  I will post more when we get home.....

Been quiet because Larry is feeling much better, and I have continued working outside.
He has a dentist appointment on Wed, to see how his gums are for dentures.....

Also we are going to be taking a rv trip..... going to the downtown rv park on the Arkansas River...  good place for our first trial trip......    plus we have 10 other rv rigs joining us...   fun....
