Positive for GI bleed, waiting for newest lab results before deciding what to do and when...
New meds to take before he eats to coat his stomach lining...
Upper scope in the morning.... will be asleep, and heartmate doctors will be there too.....
So this will help prevent the GI bleeds?

Deletebut a lot will depend upon where his bleed is... if in upper GI area it might, but if it is lower, probably not... no way to check small intestine....
Main concern now is getting it stopped.... hematocrit was 27 after 3 bags of blood,,, standard is above 40...
