Pill cam NOPE

was waiting till today to post pill cam yesterday SEEMED to go fine....
After they took the monitor off we went to eat, the by Home Depot fir more flea stuff...

Well MORE DRAMA.
GI office just called, pill cam never made it past his stomach, they have him set for xray on monday to look for it.
Ok sent a text to his nurse, she just called me from her car.....  when she gets into office, she will call the GI 's nurse and then talk to Dr Ransom..

What i read online said surgical retrieval might be necessary.....  for now just waiting....   he feels fine. He does not need another setback.....  not physically and not mentally.....

So tired of DRAMA....

Still fighting fleas....  are fairly contained in upstairs studio, but the bites on my ankles are horrible....

Smile.....  Larry is being amazingly postive.....




''Relax, he is not gonna need surgery"'   is what surgeon son just told me.... plus he graduated from med school with the GI doctor......   so that makes me feel a little bit better......

Clinic visit yesterday.....
first thing saw Dr Ransom in the hallway eating a breakfast bar.....
Then went to lab, orders weren't there so had to wait, not too long, texted Tori and she sent them down....
 then xray, that was fast...
Then up to see Dr Ransom in room.....  full house, not all patients, but family too.
Nothing bad, no change for the most part...  back on diuretics as his breathing is better on them...
Go back in 2 weeks.  Dont knownumbers, but Tori said they were good...

Today is prep for pill cam.....  usual drink this stuff, clear liquids, then NPO... be there at 6:30 am, take the pill put on a monitor, the come home and wait, back at 3, give them the monitor, then they will process the 50,000 photos.  Pill camera is disposal, we do not take it back.....

Also today,,, DRAMA alert......
The POSSUM is gone, but he left me a rememberance.....

I have seen some on dogs and reapplied their flea drops on Saturday night... they went to groomers on Sunday and had flea shampoo.... 
thought no more of it..
Went up to my studio today, and wow... i got attacked...  i looked down and my ankles were covered, and yes they were biting me....  so I ran down, grabbed the spray and sprayed everything I could get to....  then I came down, grabbed the on dog direct spray and outside I went...  covered my legs and feet...  by this time, the fleas were on my arms as well, so ran to the bathroom, stepped into the shower, stripped down, put clothes in a plastic bag, and took a shower...  
then grabbed the clothes, dog bedding again, and put in hot water wash..... went back and used the household spray again in those areas...  
then since I have so many bites on my ankles, i decided it would be wise to take a benedryl..  i still feel like they are climbing all over me.... 

Larry is steaming the living room carpet as I type....  me i am gonna go take a benedryl nap....

Sunday afternoon....  dogs are getting groomed, so quiet,,,
So watching a movie.... "innerspace"  as a prep fpr the pill cam...

It happened to be on..... no I didnt go looking for it.....  really..
But Larry was funny....   just gotta keep laughing...  or at least try to...

Was gonna try for the movie theater " Valerian"....  decided not on weekend.

It was really hot today, and just as humid.... miserable summer weather.....

But we got out, short walk into WalMart, short walk to jeep..... nice a/c inside....  on the way home at 12:30 noon, the jeep said 102.......

I think for safety we will stay home in a/c until the heat breaks...  or until Monday dr appointment, or Wed pill endoscopy appointment......

Prayers for those who have to work in this... be safe, stay hydrated....  and if you don't have to do outside work, then do not.....

Today was a good day........
oh wait, yesterday first...
honestly had to stop and think what happened on Monday... I did paint a bit, first time in months.
Ok yesterday....   focus brain.....
Tuesday was blood draw at clinic, hematocrit was up.... good, but INR was down, not so good.  But increase in warfarin was prescribed by nurse Tori. Larry seems to be feeling better.

So when our friends Dave and Nola texted and asked if we were up to a visit, I said yes....  got in touch with Richard and Ann too.......   background... I met D/N on a rv forum....  actually Dave, then our "group" RVMutants, decided to meet up, that is when I met Nola and we all became closer.  D/N are rv fulltimers, grew up in Minnesota or Michigan area (brain blank), worked and lived in Pennsylvania....
And travel all over.....   Richard and Ann joined the group as well, but they do live in Arkansas....  btw, Ann has had health issues and gets a pacemaker on Friday...   lots of prayers...

Anyway, met for lunch at LaMadeline, then came to the house to visit...  below are photos...
Then in case I needed some drama, since it had been a relaxing day... i read about the Home Depot shoplifter/car hijacker.  It was about 100 yards from the restaurant and about an hour after we left....  thank you that we decided to go early rather than after the lunch rush....  that change in time was made at 11.....  this morning.....  no I didnt have a premonition....

So all is good...  for today.....

Alexa moved in......

I had Larry order an Amazon Dot on Amazon Prime day......  cost was $35.... it came in while he was in the hospital, so rather than setting it up, I waited for him to....  he likes to do those things....  Friday night he spent a couple of hours, got frustrated, and unplugged it and handed it to me.....  i do need to say he wascstill quite fuzzy brained from the anemia....  plus I had inadvertently changed his country on his amazon prime from the US to the UK when I was going to try Audible last month...

Well, I too am a techie.... so Saturday, I began....  plug in was as simple as they say.... but to get it to do what I am wanting was not quite as simple....  finally got it to do some things, like have 2 user profiles, to play my SiriusXM music and Larrys Prime Music.... and finally got her to send a text thru AT&T......   only can add 10 contacts.... but now Larry can text in case he cannot get to a device....

Echo is Ai.... Artificial intelligence, uses the cloud, and is not only helpful, but it is fun.
We laughed out loud last night at some of the jokes.....

Between our Ipad Pros, Iphones, and now Echo... we might never come out of our cave.....

I have no idea why the Op photos posted so large, but I guess it is as large there as it was in my mind.... and it was big to me......  smile.

Florida grands called and wanted to know why I had a rat on my kitchen counter.... cracked me up...so love facetime....  Larry was busy trying to set up the new Echo Dot....  wasnt successful. Will try again today....

Today we have no plans....  i might not get dressed all day....  we both need a no drama day.....
I said that to Larry as we were driving home, then when I parked and went to the back of the jeep to get his suitcase... the window popped up and hit me in the nose.....   there was drama...  it hurt, bad, the damn OP was watching me.  Just not good....  but it got better...  nose isnt broken, just had a headache all day.

Drama....  needed to go get RX for a pill he had to take 1 hour before dinner....   thunderstorms,  seemed the radar showed them going in circles....  so finally got to go.

I forgot to get the mail on Thursday, so when Dave, the mailman delivered Frifays mail, and it was still there from the day before, he got worried and brought both up to the door to check on me....  that was such a nice thing....

Larry is still not feeling as good as he was in late May, but he is better than last week, main,y he is glad to be home....  he said as incredible as the nurses are on 8b, it still is better to be home...  of course LitaBit agrees, she misses her human when he isnt here...

At 1;43 this morning, I heard a crash....   I had closed my door, so I just decided I would deal with it this morning.   Good thing  or I might not have trapped my prey....  the crash was one of Larrys handmade glass pieces, and his fav mug that Katie got him one year.  He loved that mug so much that he never did use it, just had it on his shelf....  

If I had gotten up I woukd have confronted that beast in the living room, not guving him time to make it to the trap......    slept in, forgot to set alarm.....  woke up at 6;50.... snuck into the kitchen peeped around the corner and yes there was the alien    OPPOSSUM....  so i backed up, got a deep breath and went in telling it how damn ugly it was......   got my extension grabber thingys and picked that trap up, and carried it outside.....  then went and cleaned up the glass, the poop, and ginally let the dogs out.......

Now to drink my coffee and get dressed to go to the hospital....

Good:
 Larry is coming home in the morning, bleeding has been slowed or at least his blood is built back up.... day of learning... from PA Josh, son Dr. David, and Dr Ransom......  hematocrit is all relative to individual patient... what those test results with the standard ranges are...  nothing really...   each patient has to be considered as to other symptoms and how the patient is doing... so the scare that I have with the numbers semming to be so low, are not all that liw for an LVADer.... plus the bleed he has could be one he has had for years, its just now the coumadin has his blood thinner so it squeezes out of an area that otherwise it might not.... yes that makes perfect sensr.....  duh, dumb it down for mama as nurse Pamela told me today......
And yes he has gym shorts on under that gown.

pill cam next week, hopefully on Tuesday.... this will give them 50,000 photos of his small intestine.....  lot of photos, even more than I took in Alaska

Bad:

Just now, when coming home, the neighbor was outside, stopped and talked to him.... that cat that I thought was in my house, had gone wacko, and they got rid of it in May.....🙀 it is not THE ALIEN CAT,so chances are it is either a raccoon or an opposum....  bad, scary......  😱



Either way, at lunch I went to Home Depot and bought a $50 animal trap, brought it home, set it up and baited it... now to see if I catch the dang thing tonight.... if you hear me scream in the morning, then I probably caught it....  🗣
